Google continues to ignore email

My post went live on the DMA Email Marketing blog today looking at Google’s appalling use of email “marketing”.Their recent decision to discontinue the Google newsletter makes sense to some degree given the size of the business today but the fragmented approach to email marketing throughout the rest of its divisions is an opportunity missed.
